Simon slowly stood up from the ground, and Pi Dan was still persistently jumping on him. The scene was warm and funny, until Owen called out "Pi Dan" with a smile, the big dog with shiny black and white fur finally calmed down, wagging its tail and sitting down beside Simon's legs, but its head was still resting on his knees.
Simon rubbed its head and asked Owen: "Did you drive here by yourself again?"
"Not this time." Owen said, "The assistant secretary and driver followed me, but I came to see you on my own."
"...Oh." Simon nodded and asked, "Is there a job here?"
Otherwise, why would they have been in such frequent contact in the past two days?
