Light shone through the colored glass on the wall, leaving colorful patterns on the ground. The huge temple was suddenly very quiet. The God of Light stared at Ethan Du with his dark eyes, as if Ethan Du's reaction was out of sync with his cognition. He was wondering what went wrong.
When the God of Light spoke again, his voice regained its dignity.
"If you don't kill him, you will be the one who dies."
The light man grinned, his curved mouth and black hole-like eyes looked like a mask on a clown's face.
"Do you think he won't attack you?" The voice of the God of Light had a subtle tone, like a slight mockery, but also a hidden threat. "If he knew what you had done, do you think he would let you go?"
