However, unlike their distant relatives, bulldog ants, army ants eat everything. When they encounter larger prey, such as snakes, they will give up and naturally will not cause trouble to the big cats. Bulldog ants will regard all moving creatures they encounter as potential prey. Even lions, cheetahs, and leopards are just a big meal for them. Even elephants will be eaten. This ant crawls into the body through the nose.
