When Monty arrived, the cheetahs had gathered around two white-eared waterbucks and started feasting. It was not common to see twelve cheetahs eating together, but what attracted Monty was the food that Rojo had specially left for him.
Even if he lost the little wildebeest, these white-eared waterbucks could still fill his stomach.
The last time Monty ate a white-eared waterbuck was when his mother brought it back to him when he was a child. The meat of this kind of antelope tastes very good, but it lives in swamps all year round and is rarely seen.
Monty walked over to a intact waterbuck carcass and sniffed it. The meat was still fresh. Unlike the cheetah, he must catch the prey himself or eat it alive. As long as it is edible, the leopard will not let it go.
The vultures did not dare to provoke the three adult cheetahs and five sub-adult cheetahs, and the leopards were not easy to mess with. Fortunately, there were enough waterbuck carcasses here, and everyone ate independently without the need for disputes.
