At the critical moment, Rojo rescued Sartre from Monty's claws. Even so, Monty also scratched Sartre's body with several wounds. The wounds were not deep, but they really frightened Sartre.
Ever since Sartre lived alone, although he was always chased and looked down upon, he had never really been hurt. Once a cheetah is injured, the consequences can be fatal.
This was not the first time he encountered a leopard, but this was the first time he was injured by a leopard.
Sartre looked back stiffly at Rojo who was standing in front of Monty, then looked at the scars on his hind legs, and then he fell to the ground softly.
