"Okay! This place is indeed good. Let's book it first!" Mary said. "But you have to write a receipt. Otherwise, no one can prove that I paid the deposit."
"I have been a pawnbroker for more than ten years. I handle half of the residents in these streets. How can you not trust me?" said the pawnbroker.
"Being trustworthy is one thing, but rules are rules." Mary said. "If it's okay, just write a receipt."
"Okay. I'll write it for you." The broker said, "Then I'll write it for you."
After Mary and the broker had an agreement, one gave her a receipt and the other gave him a deposit of 200 taels. The deal was done and they soon separated.
