"You go back to sleep. I still have things to deal with." Ling Mason lowered his voice. "If they use the rules to pressure you, ignore them. Aren't you good at poison? If things get out of hand, I'll be there for you. Anyway, don't let them bully you."
Mary sat up: "Don't worry. Do I look like someone who will suffer a loss?"
"That's good." Ling Mason came over and helped her tuck in the quilt. "Go back to sleep."
"We have to go to the Jingzhao government office later." Mary said, "Is Lord Wen going to attend the morning court? Let's go after he finishes the morning court!"
