"Why don't you give him some water? His lips are so dry." said Mary.
"I don't know why, but he gets a stomachache whenever he drinks water. We're out of food. At first we wanted to ask our neighbors for help, but everyone is struggling now and no one is willing to help us. The child has been hungry for four or five days and can't hold on any longer," said the woman.
"Lay the child flat." Mary ordered.
The woman immediately laid the child flat.
Mary pressed the child's belly.
