"He should have been whipped a few more times." Mary said angrily. "If it had been me, it would have hurt so much!"
Mason smiled when he heard the first half of the sentence, but the second half almost made him angry to death.
"Did you do that on purpose?" Mason asked. "I think the whip should have been on you."
Anyway, he is a heartless and ungrateful person.
"Who can blame the benefactor for being so kind? There are not many good people like you. Don't worry, as long as I am here, I will never let you die."
