Lily was about to cry. She sniffed stubbornly to control the tears that were about to flow out.
"Grandma, although I am a daughter, I will respect you like a boy. Why do you say that about my mother? My mother has worked hard for this family for so many years. Isn't that enough?"
"What do you mean by enough? If you were a man, you wouldn't have to do anything and I would support you. But you are a money-loser." Jiang said as she slapped Lily.
Mason grabbed Jiang's wrist and looked at her coldly.
Jiang struggled a few times but failed to break free. She glared at Mason fiercely: "Let me go. Why are you helping her? Just say that this little girl is not decent and is flirting with men in the village. If she cries, there will be many men to help her. It really brings shame to our family."
