Gideon glanced at him, his expression gradually cooling down.
Before leaving, Cassidy heard him say something lightly, “Perhaps I shouldn’t have let me meet you.”
Rowan walked over and saw Cassidy frowning. He looked back at Gideon’s leaving back, “What did he tell you?”
Cassidy recovered, looked away, and shook her head slowly: “…nothing.”
Rowan looked at her with slightly deep eyes.
