At lunchtime, Uncle Du brought the food to the table and left.
The few vegetarian dishes are exquisite. The young shoots were picked by Uncle Dumb in the bamboo forest in the morning. They were crispy and refreshing after being fried.
The coconut white water tofu is lit with green mint, and the freshly picked green mango is cold and sweet and sour.
Plus the pumpkin porridge which is boiled until it’s sticky…
