Evelyn drew a card from his wallet and put it on the table.
“This card is the monthly dividend and the end-of-year dividend card left by my grandfather to my company. I have never used it. There are six house loans on this card, and seven cars, including many brand-name jewelry. Stages, and none of these things are in my name.”
Evelyn looked at Conrad lightly.
“Dad, what do you say I want this card for?”
Conrad’s face froze.
