She knew that Ava probably still referred to the “quarrel” between her and Julian that night.
Daisy knew that Ava was pretending to be stupid, and pinched her a55, “You pretend to me, didn’t you quarrel in the cold war?”
Ava shook his head, “No, we are reconciled.”
They have never had a cold war before. The cold war is what people who truly love each other will do.
Looking back, since they were young, they have never really done one thing that a couple should do, except for symbolically holding hands.
