The old lady was so angry that she slapped her daughter and said, "What are you talking about! Go and study hard, learn more from your sister Miaomiao, and then you can win a trophy and bring it back to me to show off."
The others laughed again.
Some people even said to Miaomiao's parents with envy: "Your daughter is really amazing. Looking at her situation, maybe the leaders of our county and city will come to your house to express their condolences!"
Although I don't know much about film festivals, my fellow villagers have automatically equated this award with the gold medals in the Olympics.
Anyway, we are competing with foreigners and we are getting medals, so there doesn’t seem to be any big difference.
