Soren Cheng managed to fall asleep and survived the first night. When he woke up the next morning, the pain was greatly reduced.

Then the wound recovery seemed to progress by leaps and bounds, and I felt much better after each sleep. On the third morning, I could basically get out of bed without any problems. On the fourth morning, I felt that unless I coughed hard, my daily activities had resumed, so I insisted on being discharged from the hospital.
