Ava’s movements subconsciously slowed down a bit and walked in slowly.
Mason’s words were as short as ever, basically with “um” and “good” tone words, until Ava heard his final sentence, “I will take Ava and the child back to see mom as soon as possible.”
Ava’s eyes condensed suddenly, and he stopped involuntarily.
Mason put away the phone, turned around, and saw Ava standing behind him, he curled his lips and walked towards her, “When did you wake up?”
Ava blinked and forced a smile, “Just now.”
