When the words fell, Mason raised one foot and moved forward without hesitation. Mia looked at him in horror, and kept shaking her head, blurting out her voice, “No!”
He was already crazy, and for Ava, he didn’t care if she wanted his people, what’s the use of killing him.
“No.”
Mia’s voice choked, her face was ashamed, she lost, really lost.
It turns out that not everyone can threaten Mason. It turns out that only those who care can threaten her. She thinks that Mason cares about her at least a little bit, but not even a little bit.
