The slender fingers moved slightly, Mason untied the necklace she had tied around her neck, took out the ring, looked at it for a while, he smiled, put his fingers together, and held the ring in the palm of his hand.
Ava didn’t know how long she slept, but she heard a gentle voice in her ear calling her, “It’s late, it’s sunset, get up soon.”
