“Look at me, I’ve been too busy lately, and I forgot to call you to tell you about Mr. Pei’s situation.” Logan’s slightly apologetic voice came from the phone, “Madam, don’t worry, I have been there recently. Look at Mr. Pei, he is recovering well, the doctor said, after all, he is old and strong, and if he is raised again, his body can fully recover.”
Mason wasn’t as she had imagined, her condition worsened, Ava breathed a sigh of relief.
“Then can he still lie in bed now?”
“Most of them are lying down. The doctor said he must stay in bed because the wound in his heart has not healed yet. If he walks around, he will tear the wound. It turned out to be the case, no wonder he never called her or texted her, maybe because of powerlessness, or because his father and mother didn’t give him a cell phone at all, he couldn’t get out of bed.
