When Mrs. Pei proposed not to hold the wedding for the time being, she agreed because of this concern. She knew that her marriage to Mason would not last long. Mason hated her so much, how could she stay with her all the time, so no matter if the wedding was not held, at least she wouldn’t be too embarrassed when she got divorced.
