In the next few days, Ava had been busy with some finishing work. Then, she held a meeting again to announce that the acquisition plan of the Pei Group had completely failed, and she successfully defended Su’s enterprise.
After the company’s affairs settled, she went back to Su’s house. After quarreling with her that time, Oliver has been working hard and running around, her body suddenly stepped down, and she has been recuperating at home.
When Oliver saw Ava, she still had a cold face, as if she didn’t want to see her.
It doesn’t matter if Su is late. She sits on the bed, holding an apple, and quietly peeling it. The apple peel goes round and round without breaking, until she cuts off the last cut, the long apple peel. Falling into the trash basket, Ava took the knife and handed the cut apple to Oliver, “Grandpa, have an apple.”
The apple was handed to Oliver. Oliver glanced at Ava sideways. He raised his hand, but instead of taking the apple, he waved it hard. Ava didn’t hold it firmly, so the apple fell to the ground and rolled. After a few laps, it became dirty instantly.
