The bell for English class rang, and Jason saw a strange man walking into the classroom. He was wearing a pair of black-framed glasses and a striped shirt. The man stood on the podium naturally and told everyone to take out the English weekly.
"Who is this? Did he enter the wrong class?" Jason asked Derek puzzledly.
"Substitute class teacher, Mr. Dai, didn't Ms. Bai tell us in class the other day that she was sent by the school to a high school in the United States for a two-week exchange program? Starting today, another teacher will substitute for her." Derek whispered to him, "You didn't hear such an important thing?"
"When did you say that? I don't remember."
Derek recalled, "The day Logan didn't come."
