The man rode the cloud dragon all the way down to Matthew.

The peach forest at the foot of Matthew Mountain, where Ethan Lin often visited, looked a little strange in the night. After a spring rain, many peach blossoms fell, and the branches were not as dense as they were a thousand days ago, with occasional slightly protruding branches. The man took Ethan Lin and stopped at a bunch of peach branches. His red clothes fluttered in the breeze in the cool night, and his cold hands covered Ethan Lin's shoulders again. Ethan Lin felt a slightly cool breath coming from her ear, and the man spoke, saying, "Come."

After saying that, he pushed, Ethan Lin glared, and then fell from the treetop. He thought he would fall heavily to the ground, but his originally heavy body turned into a wisp of spring breeze at this time, and he landed steadily on the ground with a tiptoe. Ethan Lin looked surprised and looked at his feet.

"Go ahead." The man chuckled, a drunken smile in his phoenix eyes. He fell down, causing Ethan Lin to exclaim, but the peach tree under his feet stretched out its branches, like the slender hands of a young girl, and softly embraced the man in its arms.

He just lay in a field of peach blossoms, wearing a red robe and black hair, with a sword hanging from his waist. The corners of his bright-colored robe hung in front of Ethan Lin, swaying back and forth like a bottomless lake.

The silver sword began to circle around Ethan Lin again. Like a curious child, it sniffed left and right, and finally rubbed the back of Ethan Lin's hand gently with the hilt of the sword, signaling him to hold it.

Ethan Lin stretched out her hand.

All of this was too much like a bizarre dream, and he could no longer tell whether he was in a dream or outside. The moment the pale hand grasped the hilt of the sword, Ethan Lin felt his palm begin to heat up, and then a surging heat flowed through his body.

The next moment, Ethan Lin disappeared from the spot.

The man was still leaning on the branch, his hand supporting his chin, looking lazy, as if he had just woken up from a long sleep. He yawned lazily and said to himself: "Where will he go?" After a pause, his half-closed eyes widened a little, and he smiled: "It's quite interesting."

Ethan Lin flew out with the sword, and before he could react, he stopped again. The peach forest was still in front of him, but there was a group of terrified monkeys in front of them.

Ethan Lin stood there and they stared at each other.

"Why did you bring me here?" The situation was too embarrassing, Ethan Lin could only look back at the sword that brought him here and asked.

The small silver sword that was unsheathed was also tilted, which made Ethan Lin read a hint of doubt.

The monkey group slowly retreated to both sides, and a beautiful big monkey with golden fur walked out from the back. It was the one that teased Ethan Lin. When it saw Ethan Lin, it squeaked a few times with joy.

Ethan Lin wanted to retreat immediately. He was afraid of being bullied by the monkeys. The monkeys moved to the peach forest when he was about 12 or 13 years old. At that time, he was just a short teenager. He didn't know how many times his snacks were snatched away. Later, the monkey king came and the situation was slightly better. Although he could keep his snacks, he would always be surrounded by a group of monkeys...

Ethan Lin really has a lot of blood and tears to tell about this group of monkeys.

The Monkey King blinked at him, his beautiful golden eyes full of curiosity, probably wondering how Ethan Lin appeared in the peach forest in the middle of the night. However, he looked left and right, and did not see the maids following Ethan Lin. He scratched his head with his hand, then moved his feet and jumped onto the peach tree next to him, looking down at Ethan Lin.

Ethan Lin immediately remembered the time when he was teased by the monkey a few days ago. An incredible idea popped up in his mind. He widened his eyes and said, "What are you going to do---"

The monkey king squeaked twice and rushed directly towards Ethan Lin. Seeing this, Ethan Lin showed a look of horror. Emily Hua once said that this monkey had a good fate and could reach the level of a fifth-level sword cultivator. If everything went well, in a few years, he would be able to speak human language. Facing a fifth-level monkey, Ethan Lin immediately felt that she might have to die here today. However, just as she thought of this, the monkey had already pounced in front of Ethan Lin. Although Ethan Lin knew that she could not defeat it, she still reached out her hand reflexively and grabbed it randomly. Then she felt that she had pinched a furry ball in her hand.

"Squeak---" the monkey made a miserable cry.

Ethan Lin was terrified and was about to throw the thing in her hand away, but she realized something was wrong. She looked closely and found that the golden monkey king, who should have been very agile, was pinched by her neck and was struggling. Ethan Lin did not use too much force, but the monkey seemed to be holding its lifeblood and could not break free from Ethan Lin's hand. It kept chirping and its originally arrogant face was left with an expression of indescribable grievance.

"Huh?" Ethan Lin leaned closer to take a look.

The monkey looked into his eyes with an innocent look.

"You're not running?" Ethan Lin touched him and felt that the monkey's fur was really comfortable, thick, soft, and clean, and it felt furry.

"Squeak." The monkey was listless and didn't move.

Ethan Lin asked curiously, "You want to run away but can't?"

The monkey actually nodded, and his eyes looked even more pitiful.

Ethan Lin asked in confusion: "Why can't it run? I didn't use any strength---" As he said this, he gently shook the monkey, but the monkey screamed, covered the back of its neck with its hands, and trembled all over. Ethan Lin stopped in a hurry and took a closer look, only to find that a large piece of the monkey's neck hair had been pulled out, revealing its pink skin.

Ethan Lin immediately felt guilty.

"I really didn't use much force." Ethan Lin explained awkwardly.

How could the Monkey King believe it? His eyes were full of resentment, like a wife being abused by her husband, and even tears welled up in the corners of his eyes, which made Ethan Lin's teeth ache. He really didn't use too much force, but when his hand loosened, the golden hair fell to the ground along Ethan Lin's hand, and the Monkey King also fell to the ground, covering his half-bald neck with sadness.

Ethan Lin coughed dryly and explained quickly: "I didn't mean it. I have never practiced martial arts, so how much strength can I have?" As he said this, he wanted to prove it, so he gently pushed the peach tree next to him.

With a crisp "crack" sound, the peach tree, which was as thick as an adult's thigh, cracked open before our eyes, and then fell to the ground with a thud with a teeth-grinding crunching sound.

The Monkey King widened his black eyes, looked at the peach tree in horror, then at Ethan Lin.

Ethan Lin was also stunned. He was silent for a long time and managed to squeeze out a sentence, "I really didn't use much strength."

This statement might have been more convincing if he hadn't been secretly rubbing the monkey hair off his hands.

The monkey king looked at Ethan Lin with a sad expression, and didn't say anything for a long time. Ethan Lin felt very embarrassed by his stare, so she could only say: "I really didn't mean it, and don't you often bully me on weekdays?" He thought for a while, turned around and picked a peach blossom from the peach tree next to him, half bent over and inserted the flower into the monkey king's ear, blinked cunningly, "Hey, I'll give you a flower, don't be angry."

The Monkey King almost shed tears and chattered for several times, but no one knew what he said.

Although Ethan Lin didn't understand its words, she could sense some grievance from it, so she tried to comfort it softly: "Don't cry, don't cry, it doesn't matter if the hair falls out, it will grow back sooner or later..."

Seeing that he didn't understand what he meant, the monkey king called out again, and turned around dejectedly, revealing the back of his neck that Ethan Lin had plucked bald. His entire body was covered in golden fur, but the neck connecting the back of his head was covered in sparse stubble, with faintly visible pink skin.

She actually looks quite pitiful.

Ethan Lin pursed her lips, her thin shoulders trembled slightly, and she forced back her smile.

The monkey king wore the small flower that Ethan Lin gave him, and walked slowly, looking back every few steps. Ethan Lin suddenly felt something, and said to the monkey king in a gentle voice: "Go, I will come to see you later."

The Monkey King sighed and looked back at Ethan Lin for the last time. The dark night concealed the longing in his eyes. Then he turned around, leaped a few times, and disappeared into the dense peach forest.

The smile on Ethan Lin's face gradually faded, and he felt a little lonely. He had a feeling that this seemed to be the last time he would see this naughty monkey.

But at least it was revenge for the previous teasing, Ethan Lin thought.

After sending the naughty monkey away, Ethan Lin looked at the peach tree next to her that was knocked down by her slap, and muttered sorry with a sad face.

The peach trees here are hundreds of years old. They were broken by Ethan Lin's slap. It was really an unexpected disaster. Fortunately, he didn't reach out and hit the Monkey King on the head...

The silver sword beside her, which had been silent all this time, began to buzz again. Ethan Lin smiled and reached out to grasp the hilt of the sword again.

The long sword flew and rang, taking Ethan Lin away from the peach forest again.

All this seemed like a dream, but even if it was just a pipe dream, it was still a beautiful dream, and there was nothing to regret. But if it was not a dream, then he must have undergone some abnormal changes because of the beautiful man in red.

It was only a moment of daze before Ethan Lin returned to the dull courtyard again. The room was filled with the bitter aroma of traditional Chinese medicine. Emily Hua, who had brought some snacks, had already knocked on the door of the wing room.

"Young Master, the porridge is ready." Emily Hua reminded gently.

Ethan Lin sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the scribbled lines on his palm, and suddenly remembered the comments made by Wan Yao, the sect's doctor and fortune teller, to him - "On Mount Kun, there was someone calling out in the middle of the road, and looking back in the wheel tracks, there was a carp."

From then on, Ethan Lin understood.

He is the fish trapped in the wheel's track, which may die of thirst at any time.
