On Wulinmen Street, a young vendor wearing a patched short cotton jacket was holding a wooden box with a few cakes left in his hands. He walked while shouting, "Square cakes, strip cakes, crystal cakes, and fruit cakes for sale."
He is the informant of Hangzhou Station, Wang Xiaodu, codenamed Sunflower.
"Hey, Xiaodu, the snacks are not sold out yet?" An old man who was sitting on the roadside repairing shoes heard the hawking, looked up and shouted to Wang Xiaodu.
"Yes, Uncle Zhang!" Wang Xiaodu said with a smile, "There are still a few crystal cakes and rice cakes left. Would you like to try two pieces? I'll give you a discount of three cents for two pieces."
"Forget it!" Uncle Zhang waved his hand. "Three cents is enough for me to buy half a pound of rice."
