As soon as Gavin Lin finished speaking, the passengers started to talk. It was obvious that they disagreed with the way Gavin Lin asked them to take off their shoes and socks and queue up for inspection.
A man in the front row who looked like a teacher and was wearing a cotton robe said to Gavin Lin, "Sir, we can understand that you check the tickets. But it's still cold in spring, and it's not appropriate for you to make us take off our shoes and stand barefoot on the cold ground to wait for you to check, right?"
The man in the cotton-padded robe who looked like a teacher started the conversation, and soon seven or eight other people who looked well-dressed followed him and started shouting:
"Yeah! Who the hell can stand standing barefoot on the ground in this cold weather?"
"Yeah, I have arthritis and I can't stand the cold wind, let alone standing on the ground barefoot!"
