Her body was still trembling from the fear of losing the other person and the expected pain. Lin Yang held Liam tightly in his arms, his thin back arched, and he resolutely created a small piece of peaceful world for her. The expected severe pain of torn flesh did not come. The person in his arms seemed to react, and her body, which was a little stiff due to confusion, moved slightly. She put her hands on Lin Yang's back. Lin Yang trembled all over, raised her head in panic, and pulled Liam back quickly until their backs were against the rock wall. Her eyes anxiously swept through the white gauze, as if she was looking for something. She looked around for a long time before she relaxed a little, turned to look at Liam, pursed her lips, and pulled up a bitter smile of extreme self-mockery.
Liam looked at her silently, with pain and regret clearly revealed in his eyes. Even Lin Yang herself felt bitter. She watched Liam purse his lips until they turned pale, lean over briefly to hug her, then quickly step away. With his left hand, he grabbed a piece of gravel from the edge of the cave entrance and flicked it upwards. With his other hand, he took her around the dark coffin and pointed somewhere half-hidden behind the white veil.
Lin Yang didn't want her to get close to the white gauze again. That face must not be her illusion. However, she couldn't speak while underwater. Lin Yang was anxious. Seeing Liam pointing in a certain direction, she looked in the direction. However, her heartstrings tightened again. The place Liam pointed was a coffin a few feet away. The coffin was not stable, and one end was half buried in piles of blood. A black shadow was curled up quietly in the white gauze surrounding it.
The light was dim underwater, and Lin Yang could only roughly make out a human figure huddled at one end of the coffin, but it was definitely not that scary white face. During the short time he stared, the light around him gradually became brighter, and Lin Yang caught a glimpse of Bai Ji floating down from above with a night pearl in her hand, hovering quietly. Liam gave her a slight signal, and the three of them dived towards the direction of the black shadow together.
The three were not far away from the coffin. Covered by white gauze, the three of them deliberately hid themselves and made no sound. When they were within thirty meters, Bai Ji suddenly hid the night pearl in his sleeve. The other two received the signal and swooped out like swimming fish, trying to take down the opponent with one blow. Liam restrained his right shoulder, while Lin Yang twisted his arm. The dagger quietly touched his throat, and the thing was caught off guard. Even under the control, it still had the strength to resist. With a muffled roar, it shook its arms violently, and its strength was so great that it almost knocked Lin Yang's dagger out of his hand.
