"You..." Lin Yang stared at Liam in a daze, unable to speak. She was willing to believe Liam's intuition, but she couldn't just sit there and watch her bleed. She watched the red trickle flow quietly along her fair wrist into her cuffs, soaking her spotless white clothes.
"Don't be afraid, I'm fine." Liam held the sword in one hand, looking at Lin Yang with gentle apology in his eyes. He wanted to raise his hand to wipe away the tears from the corners of Lin Yang's eyes, but when he noticed the blood on his hand, he put his hand down silently.
Bai Ji looked at the blood dripping from Liam's fingertips in silence, frowned, but said nothing, just raised his hand to put on Zhong Linwan's shoulder to stop her from getting closer. Qin Shigu didn't know what was going on, and didn't dare to move rashly. The ear chamber fell into silence for a moment, until a moment later, Qin Shigu finally couldn't bear it anymore, looked around and whispered: "Miss Luo, are you... looking for death?"
If it were normal times, Tan Shigu's words would surely cause Lin Yang to defend Liam. But now, Lin Yang's eyes were full of Liam's bleeding hands. She wished she could take his place. She simply couldn't listen to what others said. Liam lowered his eyes to look at Lin Yang's bloodless lips, sighed softly, and turned his head to look at Zhong Linwan, "Miss Zhong, thank you for your help."
Zhong Linwan had been waiting anxiously by the side. He hurried forward upon hearing the sound, carefully grasped Liam's hand, and before he could take a closer look at the wound, he suddenly felt dizzy and flew out lightly.
