Returning to the same floor, they got out of the elevator one after the other. Gabriel Fu got out first, but stayed outside the elevator for a while, waiting for Lucas Xie to come over, and the two walked forward side by side.
This was subtly different from before. It was not like buying potato chips on purpose or choosing the ones from a barbecue and hotpot restaurant. It was a more subconscious closeness. Lucas Xie liked it this way.
Their rooms were separated by several rooms and were opposite each other. Gabriel Fu walked to his room and whispered, "See you tomorrow." Lucas Xie nodded: "See you tomorrow."
He opened the door, entered the room, closed the door, and without even having time to insert the card to turn on the light, he leaned against the door as if his bones had been pulled out, slid down, and sat on the floor.
His body was exhausted but his spirit was extremely excited. He hugged his knees with his hands and recalled the events of the whole day in the dark. Then he slowly said to himself, don't think too much, we are just friends.
