When Liu Yinian went over with the coffee, Gabriel Fu was sitting on a chair with the script spread on his legs. He did not reflect on himself or study the script as Victor Zhong had said. Instead, he was staring at a place not far away, lost in thought.
He followed Gabriel Fu's gaze and found that it was a pair of birds snuggling together, fluffy and brightly colored. One of them was stroking the other's fur with its beak and making a bright cry.
Liu Yinian made slightly heavier footsteps, which Gabriel Fu heard. He smiled at Gabriel Fu and shook the coffee in his hand: "Teacher Fu, would you like some coffee?"
Gabriel Fu nodded at him and said softly, "Thank you." Liu Yinian placed the coffee on the plastic chair next to him, where Gabriel Fu's mobile phone was placed. The screen had not yet gone dark, and it looked like a stage photo. Before he could see clearly, Gabriel Fu turned the phone over to cover it.
Liu Yinian naturally looked away, pretending he hadn't seen it. He opened the plastic bag, took out the black coffee, and two sugar cubes: "Drink coffee first, then eat sugar, right?"
