The edge of Rock Shadow Village in the Land of Earth.
There stands a lonely stone house, made of earth and stones, solid and stable. Surrounding the stone house is a barren land covered with weeds, with a few dead trees standing sporadically on the side, adding a bit of desolation and loneliness.
From a distance, the house was completely dark, with only a shaky oil lamp flickering a weak light. The moss on the wall and the dust on the ground silently told of the loneliness and solitude of this stone house.
According to the horror legend of Iwagakure, there lives a horrible monster who loves to eat disobedient children.
