It was a Sunday morning, and the sunlight shining into the room was warm and bright. Soft fresh air streamed in through the open windows.

Outside, under God's blue sky, the fields and grasslands are full of plants and flowers; all the little birds are singing happily here. Outside there was joy and joy, but inside the house there was sorrow and sorrow. Even the normally cheerful housewife looked gloomy as she sat at the breakfast table. Finally she stood up, wiped away her tears, and walked towards the door without eating a morsel of food.

He had been a thrifty and law-abiding citizen; now when he thought about the future he felt that there was no way out. Indeed, there were times when he wanted to put an end to his miserable and comfortless life.

His wife, no matter how good her mood, no matter what she said, could not help him. His friends, no matter what sophisticated and clever ideas they had for him, could not comfort him. On the contrary, he became even more silent and sad. It is not difficult to understand that his poor wife finally had to lose her courage. But her sorrow is of an entirely different nature, as we shall soon learn.

When the husband saw that his wife became sad and wanted to leave the room, he pulled her back and said to her: "What are you unhappy about? Before you tell me clearly, , I can't let you out."
