Although this was the most embarrassing performance of his life, the clown was not flinching at all. He started learning about crocodiles again, and then learned about elementary school
pig. Gradually, Erica's fingers slid from his face to his shoulders, her breathing quickened and her mouth opened.
It was as if Erica saw with her little hands what other children saw with their eyes, and she chirped when the clown pretended to be a pig.
