One afternoon, Jesus Christ fell asleep while lying in the cradle. His mother came to him, looked at him with joy, and said, "My son, are you asleep? Sleep well, I will go there later." I will pick you a handful of strawberries, I know you will like them when you wake up." Outside in the forest, the Virgin Mary found a place covered with exciting strawberries. When she bent down to pick it, a viper suddenly jumped out from the grass, which frightened her.

She dropped the strawberries and ran away. The viper was chasing after her, and the Virgin Mary quickly hid under a clump of hazel trees and stood there quietly. Finally, the viper left. The old mother looked towards the altar, and sure enough she saw them. Of her two sons, one was hung on the gallows and the other was tied to a wheel.
