Silas sent his sister away and met McGinn and Amos again.
Silas also had the same attitude towards these two wary and nervous young men.
"You can live here temporarily, no one will come here to harm you."
McGinn thanked him, his vigilance unabated, and he asked probingly and seriously: "Then what price do we have to pay?"
He and Amos had been crawling around in the slums for so many years, but he didn't believe that there would be nobles who would be kind enough to help them unconditionally.
