Charlie came down from upstairs wearing a simple white dress.
"Brother, I'm ready, let's go."
Silas, who had closed his eyes to rest, opened his eyes and stood up from the sofa: "What are you doing, taking so long?"
Charlie glanced upstairs and whispered, "It's my mother. She wants to go to the temple with me."
This was not the first time that her stepmother, Mrs. Cecil, had pestered her about this matter.
