Ben was about to speak.
John had been tricked by him for so long that he already knew his character. He simply grabbed his shoulders and pulled him back, interrupting him before he could say anything.
Ben was forced to step back, silently swallowing the five words "Go out and beat my son" in his throat, and stood back.
John calmed down and lied calmly, "I didn't go anywhere. I just went to the toilet."
Jordan glanced at him calmly: "Do you need to bring someone with you to the toilet?"
