Chen Xiu Yu sat in the corner of the open-air bar with a glass of wine in front of him. It had been more than two hours, but he didn't drink a sip. He just sat quietly in the dark, looking at a three-story building across the street.
There was a small supermarket on the first floor, and there was an iron staircase on the side wall leading to the second and third floors. The man bought a bottle of water in the supermarket, which took him five minutes, and then he went up the stairs to the second floor and disappeared behind the iron door on the second floor.
Now half an hour has passed and the man has not come out yet.
Chen Xiuyu could only see a window on the second floor from where he sat. The curtains were drawn. He had been here several times and the curtains had never been drawn. Now he could tell from the dim light flickering behind the curtains that the light on the second floor was not electric, but probably candles or oil lamps.
It is not normal to have such a house on such a modern bar street.
