It lay on the small carpet in front of the sofa with its four paws spread out until midnight when it woke up. It had a dream with a lot of messy contents, and when it woke up it felt a little dizzy and tingled its tail tip, not wanting to move.
It lay there like this for another ten minutes before it slowly sat up, raised its front paws to lick them, rubbed its face for a while, then lowered its head to pull down its ears and smooth its fur.
It was time to go out. The fire brigade's spiritual energy wouldn't always be so strong. It was something you could only encounter by chance and it might disappear at any time. It stood up, shook its fur, and hopped to the balcony in small steps.
It felt depressed when it squeezed out from the narrow gap in the balcony railing. It would be great if that place was not the fire station. It wouldn't have to think about Nolan Reed all the time.
There was still a problem when it landed. It crashed into the bushes like a small cannonball, but this time it was too lazy to struggle and fell directly onto the same branch as last time. Its belly was hit in the middle and it almost vomited.
