Nolan Reed's dormitory was on the third floor. When he and Aiden Gray chased to the stairs, the little black cat had already run down the stairs to the second floor.

Nolan Reed was not obsessed with the little cat, but he was very persistent in getting it back, not for any other reason but because the cat was Alexis Hayes. If he lost the cat, he strongly suspected that Alexis Hayes would just chop it up and make it into cat food.

He leaned on the stair railing and looked down. The little black cat on the second floor looked up at him with an indescribable meaning in its eyes. He always felt that he was despised by this little black cat.

When it comes to running, Nolan Reed is definitely top-notch, but when it comes to racing with a cat on the stairs, the advantage is not on his side at all. He had just run down two steps when the little black cat jumped directly from the middle of the stairs and reached the second floor.

Nolan Reed became anxious when he saw this. Outside the building was the squadron's yard, which was full of trees and grass. If the cat ran away, there would be almost no chance of catching it. He gritted his teeth, supported himself on the railing and flipped over.

When he went down the stairs to the second floor, he heard Aiden Gray shouting from behind: "Master Ji, you are so skilled!"

"Get out!" Nolan Reed cursed. When he jumped down, his foot landed on the edge of the stairs and he almost twisted his ankle and rolled down.

The little black cat was less than two meters away from him. Nolan Reed pounced forward and wanted to grab its tail, but although the little black cat did not look back, it jumped forward flexibly and jumped towards the stairs leading to the first floor.

Nolan Reed was really at his wit's end, so he ran downstairs and shouted to the first floor, "Is there anyone on the first floor? Help me catch that black cat!"

"What black cat?" Garrett Stone's voice came from the first floor.

"Go down now," Aiden Gray also ran down, "Boss, stop it! It stole our little flower!"

Aiden Gray took the time to come up with a name for the little cat. Nolan Reed was a little bit uncomfortable with the name, but he also shouted: "It's holding a little flower!"

It jumped to the corridor on the first floor and just turned towards the entrance of the corridor, it saw a person standing in the corridor, blocking its way. The two firefighters behind it had already chased it down, and the guy who jumped directly from the third floor to the second floor also grabbed a bucket and shouted to catch it with the bucket!

Bucketing a cat?

Stupid humans! You are all idiots!

Without thinking, it ran towards the corridor blocking the passers-by, holding the kitten in its mouth and being very well behaved. However, it was not very big, and its teeth and neck were sore from running around with the kitten in its mouth, but it did not dare to bite hard.

do not care!

"Is this the one?" Garrett Stone was just about to go out to the yard for some exercise. As soon as he walked out of the office, he heard Nolan Reed and Aiden Gray shouting. Now he was startled to see the little black cat running towards him with a kitten in its mouth.

"Yes, yes, yes!" Nolan Reed shouted repeatedly.

Garrett Stone felt a bit of a headache. He had never caught a cat before, and he didn't know why the cat didn't hide when it saw him, but instead rushed straight towards him.

Before he could decide whether to scoop up the little black cat with his hands or stop it with his feet, the little black cat had already run in front of him. What happened next made several people stunned.

The little black cat jumped lightly and hugged Garrett Stone's legs. Then it waved its little paws and flexibly climbed up along his trouser legs to his waist. Then it kicked its legs under his raised arm and landed steadily on the ground behind him.

By the time Garrett Stone reacted and turned around, the little black cat had already disappeared from the corridor with its tail raised high and the flower in its mouth.

"It's over..." Nolan Reed chased out, but he couldn't find any trace of the little black cat in the squadron's yard. "Alexis Hayes is definitely going to kill me!"

"Is this cat crazy? Why is it running to our place to steal our cat?" Aiden Gray scratched the grass nearby, a little confused about what had just happened.

"Xiaohua..." Nolan Reed shouted helplessly while holding the plastic bucket. After thinking about it, he felt that the name was too rustic, so he shouted again, "Huahua... Huaer... Damn, Uncle Lin, your naming skills are really extraordinary!"

"Maomao ah---" Aiden Gray, who was standing nearby, also shouted.

"What are you two doing?" Garrett Stone followed them out, "Are you serious enough? Go back to the dormitory!"

"That's my sister's cat, the king of cats in our family, boss," Nolan Reed turned around and walked back slowly, "When she asks me for something, what should I give her?"

"It's that kind of three-colored local cat. It's sold in the flower and bird market. You can buy her another one." Garrett Stone looked at his watch and walked to the duty room at the door. His daughter would go to the fire station by herself after school, and he would wait at the door at about the same time every day.

Nolan Reed and Aiden Gray returned to the dormitory dejectedly. Nolan Reed was cleaning up the empty cardboard boxes and untouched fish rice in the corridor. He really couldn't understand why the little black cat behaved like that.

"Xiaohua is a female," Aiden Gray stood by the door and watched Nolan Reed clean up, "The black cat, last time I saw it, was a male."

"What do you want to say?" Nolan Reed was still immersed in the imagination of Alexis Hayes torturing him for losing the cat, "Is it going to take a little female cat back to be its wife..."

"It's not impossible. Even though the little black cat looks small, it will eventually grow up. It's better to prepare for a rainy day."

"...You're so cute."

Ethan Blake rarely gets injured, and he had moved, so he had nothing to bandage the kitten, but he didn't go to the pet hospital because the prices were too high and he didn't have that much spare money.

But he can go to Jasper Cole, this guy who gets injured all the time. Rats never have a good life, so Jasper Cole has all kinds of medicines.

It was still early when we arrived at Jasper Cole's house, and it was not yet time for him to go out for a walk.

"Why are you here?" Jasper Cole opened the door and let him in, but then took a few steps back and pointed at the shopping bag in his hand, "What's inside!"

Ethan Blake ignored him, put the bag on the table, took the kitten out, turned to look at Jasper Cole: "Is there any way? Its hind legs are broken."

"Are you crazy?" Jasper Cole frowned when he saw the cat in his hand, "Why did you bring a cat to me?"

"I told you its leg is broken." Ethan Blake squinted at him. He knew Jasper Cole was afraid of cats, and he always stayed away from them when he was in cat form.

"You want me to save a cat? You want me to bandage a cat?" Jasper Cole was very reluctant, but he didn't dare to directly resist Ethan Blake, so he could only mutter while rummaging through the medicine box.

Although Jasper Cole was very afraid of cats, he still carefully shaved the hair on the kitten's hind legs, reset the broken bones, and fixed them with a small board. Fortunately, this was just a newly weaned kitten, and it was already very weak from hunger and pain, so it didn't struggle much.

"Where are you going to pick up the cat?" After wrapping it up, Jasper Cole stepped back again, keeping a distance of more than two meters from the cat.

"Fire department." Ethan Blake took out a can of cat food from the bag, opened it and put it in front of the kitten. Probably because the pain in its leg was not so severe, the cat finally put its nose to the can, sniffed it, and started eating.

"...You are really crazy," Jasper Cole was stunned for a moment, and actually went to the fire station to pick up the cat, "and then?"

"Send it back." Ethan Blake glanced at him.

"You are really looking for trouble," Jasper Cole sighed, "Are you attracted to that firefighter?"

"Which one?" Ethan Blake poked his finger into the cat food can and put it in his mouth to taste it. It tasted pretty good.

"You are my savior."

Ethan Blake didn't say anything. His mind immediately popped up the image of that man chasing him with a bucket in his hand. Tsk, falling for a man like that? Too funny.

"Little cat," Jasper Cole saw that he didn't say anything, so he sat by the wall and smiled, "Have you ever liked anyone before?"

Ethan Blake had never thought about this problem. All he had been thinking about was growing nine tails. He had no time to think about anything else. He had no friends and not even many acquaintances. Apart from seeing Jasper Cole frequently and fighting with him occasionally, he rarely had the chance to speak all day.

"No, what about you?" Ethan Blake Jasper Cole sat down opposite him, cross-legged.

"Of course not," Jasper Cole waved his hand, his eyes a little dim, "At least cats are likable. How many people have you seen who don't hide when they see mice? I don't think I have a chance to like them..."

"Female rat." Ethan Blake said.

"Go away, then do you like the female cat on the table?" Jasper Cole rolled his eyes at him.

"You want to die." Ethan Blake raised his eyelids.

Jasper Cole rubbed the corner of the wall and said, "You speak first."

"If one day you can see my eight tails, will you make a wish?" Ethan Blake asked him, holding his chin.

"Yes," Jasper Cole also held his chin and thought for a while, "I want to go back to a long time ago when I was still a real mouse. I would rather be a mouse and live for a few years than live alone for so long."

"I won't help you," Ethan Blake tapped his chin with his fingers, "You have to go back. It's boring for me to be alone."

"...You're so dark."

alone?

Ethan Blake took the kitten home and let it sleep all night, intending to put it back quietly the next morning, but he did not wake up until noon.

The kitten had eaten all the cat food in the can, and he had peed on the floor and pooped on the small rug in front of the sofa.

Ethan Blake stood in front of the pile of Sh!t for a long time before he sighed, took the carpet to the bathroom to wash it, then cleaned up the urine on the floor, grabbed the kitten and went out, and returned it.

He originally wanted to carry the kitten over directly, but in the middle of the day, a cat walking on the street with another cat in its mouth would be too conspicuous, so he carried the cat to the door of the fire station and planned to go in by the same route as yesterday.

Just as he was approaching the fire station gate, he suddenly heard the alarm from inside. He stopped. Is there a fire? He hesitated whether to go in now or wait for the people to leave before sneaking in quietly.

Before he could think it through, he saw two fire trucks driving out of the garage facing the street with sirens blaring. Ethan Blake quickly retreated to a roadside tree with the cat in his arms. The cat in his arms was obviously frightened by the sudden sound of the sirens and was twisting its body restlessly.

Ethan Blake pinched its ears with his fingers.

The fire truck was speeding very high, almost rushing out of the garage. When passing by Ethan Blake, he looked up at the car.

The car was very high and he couldn't see what was going on inside. He only saw the side of a person sitting by the window.

He was already very familiar with this profile.

"You haven't finished your meal yet, right?" Dylan Brooks looked at Nolan Reed who was sitting next to him.

"I just took a bite, and it was vegetables. I should have picked up some meat and eaten it first." Nolan Reed smiled and turned to look out the window. It used to be common for fires to occur during meals, and they were used to it.

The fire this time was in a feed warehouse, a warehouse... He felt a little uncomfortable.

There was a person standing under the tree outside the gate. Normally, Nolan Reed would just glance at him and not pay much attention to him, but the person was holding a cat in his arms, a calico cat.

"Fcuk, Xiaohua!" Nolan Reed shouted and stuck his head out.

When he saw the person holding the cat again, he was surprised. It was the student working in the cafe!

"What what!" Aiden Gray was driving and couldn't look back, so he could only ask loudly.

"The student we carried out is holding Xiaohua!" The car was driving very fast and turned a corner in a blink of an eye and no one was visible. Nolan Reed retracted his head.

"Xiaohua, what about that?" Aiden Gray was very surprised. "You are not mistaken, is it because he didn't eat that he has low blood sugar?"

"It must be him," Nolan Reed was sure. The child had a very delicate face and he was deeply impressed. "...It's amazing."
