The back of Roger's head hurt a little from the fall. After the black and white snowflakes in his eyes disappeared, he saw three or four Caucasian dogs without leashes surrounding him, sniffing him anxiously.
From this angle, it looks like a few shaggy, black-faced bears.
Although Caucasus are large in size, they generally do not actively attack people. Roger had seen a few of them before, and the Caucasus greeted him affectionately.
But these dogs were different. Each dog was restless, pawing at the ground with its paws, its ears flattened into airplane ears, and its beards raised.
Roger tried to calm them based on his experience, but when several dogs saw his actions, they seemed to be suddenly stimulated by something, and opened their mouths to bite him.
