The spring rain is as soft as butter.

When you walk into the house of the Mu family, you can see the locust tree planted in the center of the courtyard.

The locust tree is about a hundred years old, huge and old. In the needle-like drizzle, countless bright red ribbons are tied to the branches that are already faintly green. The color is like blood, and they flutter in the breeze on this warm rainy day, just like the branches of this ancient locust tree. In the quiet morning, they are particularly enchanting and weird.

"Excuse me, are you Miss Meng?" An old woman in her sixties stood at the entrance of the courtyard with a cane. She stared at the girl not far away who was looking up at the red silk ancient locust tree with a strange look on her face. "Meng Sean Shan, Miss Meng?"

The girl under the tree was about sixteen or seventeen years old. She had a silver hairpin in her bun, decorated with a few seasonal spring flowers, and a long black braid hanging down her back. She was wearing a brightly embroidered colorful dress, and three or four silver rings with flower and bird patterns on her snow-white neck. She seemed to be a foreigner who had been traveling for a long time. She was carrying a thin and old saddlebag on her shoulder. After hearing the old woman's voice, the girl turned her head and showed a pretty face with fair skin and bright pupils. After seeing Madam Mu, she instantly smiled like a flower, revealing two small dimples. Her voice was crisp, like a bird, "Madam Mu, it's Sean Shan. Sorry to have kept you waiting for a long time."
