After eating the peaches, He Qiong did not feel hungry for several days. Later, she met an old man who took her to Mica Mountain and taught her how to pick mica. Gradually, she felt as light as a swallow and walked as fast as flying. She could also identify and pick various magical herbs in the mountains, treat diseases for the people nearby, and predict human affairs. Therefore, people around her called her "He Xiangu."
As the news that she had become a fairy spread widely, it alarmed Wu Zetian. She was rewarded by Emperor Wu and dressed in a dazzling morning glow dress, like a fairy descending to earth. Her mother was extremely worried. Who would dare to marry such a daughter!
When she was eighteen years old, her mother was eager to find a matchmaker for her.
