Yuan Shao and Liu Biao destroyed their foundations by "abolishing the eldest and enthroning the youngest". If Cao Zhi was enthroned, wouldn't that be the same mistake? Cao Cao suddenly realized what was happening and was determined to enthronize Cao Pi as the heir.
