Thousands of Qin soldiers landed on the western wall of Linji, like thousands of tigers entering a flock of sheep.
They first fought hard while the Wei army was not reacting, chopping melons and vegetables. When the Wei army wanted to surround and kill to make up for quality with quantity, most of the Qin army still stood back to back in groups of five or ten, forming a military formation.
The Qin army was already very brave when fighting alone, but their strength was multiplied by teamwork. They only needed to focus on the enemy in front of them without having to think about the surroundings, and they immediately gained a firm foothold.
Ladders were set up on the city walls again.
