It took nearly an hour to get there, with stops and starts, and walking through small roads and alleys. Ethan Ning's phone was almost out of battery, and he barely made it to the entrance of the military hospital after asking for directions.

He was soaked to the skin and felt a biting cold from head to toe. When the night wind blew over him, he shivered all over and almost lost all the strength to do so.

Ethan Ning took a deep breath and ran to the entrance of the inpatient department, panting. There were indeed several cars parked there, but after looking around for a long time, he didn't see any familiar relatives of the family. He took out his cell phone and was about to call Carter Xing.

As soon as he took out his phone, he saw an uncle of Carter Xing standing at the entrance of the inpatient department talking to two doctors in white coats. After the conversation was over, Carter Xing's uncle turned around to open the car door, and Ethan Ning ran over and asked, "Hello, uncle, I'm Carter Xing's friend."
