This is really a wonderful statement.
Ethan was hugged by him, and he could almost imagine the scene with his eyes closed. He could even smell the salty sea water and damp wood.
He sniffed, leaned on Finn Pei's shoulder, and asked softly, "But we didn't replace the parts with new ones. All we have are old ones. We may not be able to sail for hundreds of years."
"Do you want to live like a human spirit?" Finn Pei's voice finally had a smile, and he gently stroked Ethan's back with his palm. He was obviously the younger one, but he still coaxed her like a child, "Old parts are old parts, we can slowly decay together. Maybe on a calm day, we will sink to the bottom of the sea together and become two remains, like a dead whale, slowly sinking..."
Ethan's nose felt sore again, "I like the ending of this story."
