Owen drove them to the luxury apartment Finn Pei had been renting. Ethan looked out the window. It had been more than two years, and he had never been to Finn Pei's place. Their only interactions were about the company and schedule. Even at work, he was extremely indifferent to Finn Pei, as if he didn't exist, as if he didn't have this person in his eyes.
They were able to maintain this mutual tolerance for two years.
"arrive."
Ethan responded, opened the car door and went out first, but Finn Pei didn't know what was going on, he just wouldn't come out. Seeing him like this, Ethan bent down and looked inside, "Finn Pei, we're here."
Finn Pei raised his head, shook it again, and climbed out of the car slowly. When he got out of the car, his balance was unstable, and he fell on Ethan like a uprooted tree.
