The Xuanlian Sect finally made a comeback.

When the fellow disciples and their husbands-in-law closed the door and had their meal in the abbot's room of Xuanlian Temple, they truly felt the sense of reunion and revival of the sect.

The whole family is engaged in medicinal cuisine, so when they sit together to eat, they are more particular. In the past, they lived in the mountains, and the sect was poor. The master passed down many skills to make exquisite dishes, but they could only practice with wild animals, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots in the mountains; now the food in the temple is given by the palace, and many dishes that I had only seen in books before but never had the chance to try are now on the table.

In the small copper pot on the table, bamboo fungus is used to make soup, and fish tofu made from green mottled fish paste is stewed. The fire below is very small, and the water is slightly boiling, pushing the fish tofu to float with the water, and the fragrance is also faintly diffused in this floating. When it is time to eat, each person scoops a piece of bamboo fungus and fish tofu, pours very fresh vegetarian soup on it, and sprinkles a few strands of steamed blood bird's nest just out of the cage, it is a fresh and tender appetizer soup dish.

The first dish used bird's nest as soup, but the texture would be different if I made soup again. So the shark fin was not made into a fin soup, but was wrapped in gauze and put into the soup to simmer. Then, the crab roe sauce was sautéed with scallions and ginger, and two spoonfuls of clear soup were added. The marinated shark fin was also slid in and cooked together, making a dish of braised shark fin with a rich sauce full of crab aroma.
