There was a loud bang, and the heavy ceiling fell on top of him, smoke and dust rose up, and the sound of the earth shaking stopped after a long time. When the dust settled, Jacetian was left alone squatting in the ruins with an umbrella.

In fact, he was not holding the umbrella. After the umbrella was knocked down by the cement bricks above his head, the umbrella was still slanted over his head, blocking the large piece of ceiling that fell down, and then the cement block pressed down on his head.

He held the umbrella tightly again, stood up slowly, and stared blankly at the ground that was almost flattened around him. He took a step towards the direction where Aiden Shao was before the ceiling collapsed. The gravel under his feet slipped, and he lost his balance and fell to his knees on the stone hill.

When he was being chased in the building, he was thinking about how to survive. But now everyone was buried under the cement slab, and he was the only one left who survived with the umbrella given by Aiden Shao. He wished he could be buried like those people.
